If you have GEOS 2.0 (different from 2.0r), just use it instead with its Configure file as it's compatible with Georam (at least that's what an old issue of Compute!'s Gazette said). Alternatively, if you have/get Maverick, it can remove the "key" protection in such a way, any GEOS application will work with any version of GEOS regardless whether the install software was already initialized or not. For example, can't remember who, but a while back, someone in thia group mentioned he bought geoCalc from someone, but since geoCalc was "keyed" to the original owner's personal copy of GEOS, this person (the buyer) used Maverick on geoCalc, which enabled him to use it with his own copy of GEOS.
