MIPS is used for measuring the speed in mips. I tested MIPS with a background process (PRIM 1,1000) and get the result of 0.155 mips. If there is one process (MIPS) it gives 0.365 mips of speed. I guess this MIPS command is useful for testing the performance of different version of a program in LUNIX. You can get these LUNIX programs I documented so far from this URL: http://newton.physics.metu.edu.tr/~filker/cbmsoft.html Also I included the uuencoded version of LUNIX MIPS and its documentation below: begin 664 MIPS M__\``0(`'QP&`"Q````````````````````````````````````````````` M`````````````````$U)4%,@("`@J1`@49!,Q1!,%1%,11%,51!,;1#JJ0"B M$`8>)A\JQ2"0`N4@)APF'I1V%'P4I1V%'ZD* MA2`@3A"E'(4>I1V%'ZD-(&F0(%$0J2`@:9"I32!ID*E)(&F0J5`@:9"I4R!I MD*D-(&F08.KJC0C=K0C=T/NM"=TI#X4?($L0K0C=A2"M"=TI#SCE'[`":0J% M'PH*91\*92"%(&#JH%NB_[$5$=(I#VG_Y0&*F,T`!ZT`(
