Description:

Amiga-Look is a C64 cartridge that mimics Amiga boot process.

When you power-up your C64, a hand appears on the screen, and C64 tries to boot the first file on the diskette on drive #8.

The original cartridge has a 74L00 IC to deactivate the cartridge ROM. This EasyFlash and MegaOne version of this cart simply deactivates the active flash block by writing #$04 to $DE02. This has the same effect with the original cartridge.

This .ZIP archive includes two 8K ROM images:

amilook94.crt  : Amiga-Look for normal disk drives.
amilook94j.crt : Amiga-Look for drives with JiffyDOS.

If you have a C1541 with a JiffyDOS then you can use the latter for faster performance.

Just write the image to EasyFlash or MegaOne.

The Amiga-Look Cartridge has some additional features. It opens a menu if you press CTRL during the power-up, for example. And, you can by-pass the cartridge if you press RUN/STOP during the power-up. It also has a fastload mode that can be activated by pressing the Commodore key after power-on/reset.
